Addicted (Radio Edit) out now on iTunesForthcoming remixes from Bwana, Polkadot, Aaron Lipsett & Maths Time Joy. "No Compromise EP" out 24th March 2013.

Hailing from Brighton, DrDr are comprised of producers, Chris Campbell and Joe Woods and female vocalist Donna Curson. Taking influence from the likes of Burial, Sbtrkt, Massive Attack, Miss Dynamite, Rustie and The xx, they describe their sound as falling somewhere in between Future Garage, Post-Dubstep and Electronica.

Having remixed the likes of Major Lazer, The xx and Kissy Sell-Out, they have already established a cult online following, seducing fans with their penchant for early 00’s garage beats and soulful RnB style vocals. With their tracks featuring in the Hype Machine charts last year, followers and fans continue to grow by the day.

Lead single off the EP - ‘Addicted’ is an anthem in the making, with vocalist Donna Curson’s catchy hooks and unique tone complementing the driving future garage beat. Brimming with cross-over potential, it’s a tale of modern-day love and the conflicts of addiction in the early stages of a relationship. Next track ‘Disguise’ continues their trademark infectious bassy hooks, infused with future-soul vocals and final track ‘Goodbye’ completes the EP with an anthemic power track reminiscent to the early DJ Luck and MC Neat compilations juxtaposed with futuristic bass-drenched cyber-pop epic beats.

Four massive remixes on lead single ‘Addicted’ come courtesy of, highly revered Canadian producer Bwana, 18 year old up-coming producer Polkadot from Champion’s sister label MadTech, Bass producer Aaron Lipsett who recently smashed Clean Bandit’s single ‘Nightingale’ on Black Butter, and talented producer Maths Time Joy who reworks the track into a sensual, down-tempo style.

DrDr have had an incredibly busy year gigging across the UK supporting some of their favorite artists, such as Skream, Dismantle, So Solid Crew, DJ EZ and Breakage. In the upcoming months DrDr will play Brighton’s infamous Concorde 2 supporting Dark Sky, BrEaCh and T.Williams on March 1st, Brixton Jamm on March 29th supporting Saints Don’t Sleep and will play alongside Wolf Cub at Tram & Social on April 5th.

DrDR are keeping their heads above the mainstream water, soulful, heartfelt and addictive, they are a formidable force in the current future bass/garage scene. Ones to watch for 2013.
