Mike Saint-Jules - The Landing

Mike Saint-Jules brought the world his tracks "Solarflame", "Flash Bomb", "Waited Too Long" (with J9 on vocals) and made remixes for artists like Bobina featuring Betsie Larkin, Marc Simz and many others. Back again on the In Trance We Trust imprint, the U.S. based DJ/producer presents "The Landing". 

Mike Saint-Jules, born in 1983, got into electronic dance music in 2002 and started as a producer in 2004. In 2008, Mike released his first solo production called, “Sunlit Clouds” on Ferry Corsten’s label, Flashover Recordings. Since then Mike has remixed artists such as Ronski Speed, Rapid Eye, Filo and Peri, & Noel Sanger and many more. Mike has worked on a number of collaborations with artists such as Breakfast and worked on productions with the rising stars Filo and Peri for their artist album “Nightplay”. Mike Saint-Jules is also a member of Saint-X, one of his side projects. The single “Solarflame” was Mike's first outing on the In Trance We Trust imprint under his own name, later followed up by “Flash Bomb” and “Waited Too Long”. "The Landing" is Mike's latest release, featuring a remix by Danilo Ercole. 

"The Landing" proves that Mike's sound has grown in the past year. Powering up for a slamming trance exercise, Mike lays down an off the wall beat pattern with an incredible sub bass as the foundation. Once "The Landing" is on a roll, he releases a massive synth composition that lures the big crowds straight to the forefront of every DJ's live performance. Danilo Ercole works his magic on the original version and recreates the entire track with tech- and big room elements.

Daniel Wanrooy - Azure

In March this year, Daniel Wanrooy released his collaboration with Virtual Vault, titled "I Feel You". Taking things in his own hands again, Daniel presents his new solo productions "Azure". 

"Azure" is Daniel Wanrooy's answer to not only "I Feel You", but also the follow up to his previous singles like "Alcohol Abuse", which first appeared on Daniel's acclaimed album "Slice Of Life". The album was conceived as a project in which Daniel allowed his fans to follow the whole process through the release of several Slice Of Life EPs. Other productions like "Stay In The Moment" (featuring Blake Lewis), "Put Yourself Through This" (with the vocals of Elliot Johns) and of course the track "I Feel You" all came right after with a lot of success, which could have prompted Daniel to do more singles with fellow producers. He chose to do the opposite and decided to come up with a full Daniel Wanrooy only production, focusing again on his own, still developing sound. 

Daniel, especially as a composer, always expands his sound and with "Azure" he continues in the direction he already showed us with "I Feel You". Given the roughneck power behind "Azure", it's clear that this one aims at the big room crowd. Lining up a choice of synths and sweeps, the track broils with a hint of underground and builds up a tense atmosphere that screams for a break. Definitely a bomb for the ruling names behind the turntables, "Azure" is a sure thing for a hot live set.

Lana Del Rey - Young & Beautiful (Myon & Shane 54 Summer Of Love Mix)

Myon & Shane 54's Summer Of Love treatment was just what Lana Del Rey's "Young & Beautiful" needed to elevate the track into EDM main stage territory. 

An already classic song that works brilliantly on the dancefloor as well, there's not much that needs to be said about this bootleg remix. After it was supported by Above & Beyond (ABGT#032, #033, #034, #035) & Armin (ASOT618), it became such a highly requested track.

Niko Pavlidis ft ROW - See Inside

Niko Pavlidis ranks among the most talented DJs and music producers around the globe, proving his talent with releases like “Float Away”, “Long Roads” and “See Inside”. Born in Hamburg, Germany, Niko has always been inspired by diverse sounds, but especially compositions that evoke intense emotions. On his search for the unique ingredients that make a song truly stand out from the crowd, he found his true musical calling in EDM - especially melodic trance.

Moscow's Roma Pafos has unveiled a feel-good summer tune complete with female vocals, sparkling melodies and a choreographed BMX biker vs ballerina music video. 'For A Second' featuring Sunblind will release August 26 on Black Hole Recordings. 

The massive remix package to 'For A Second' releases on the same day and includes no less than 11 takes on the track, including a stripped down, piano instrumental by Dart Rayne and Yura (Moonlight Dub), Thomas Penton's big room, progressive house version, Nick Minoro's electrified, techy Bassment Mix, and a deep house remix by Nu-Sky. Nick Minoro, Gai Barone, Marcus & Dragen, and Techcrasher also took the flexible song for a spin, infiltrating their own forms of house, trance, minimal, bass, techno and even a bit of psy. 

Since 1996, Roma Pafos has established himself as one of Russia's leading DJs, promoters and record label bosses. His residency at Megapolis FM lead him to found the popular 'Love Is:' music festival, which is celebrating five years in existence as one of the country's most exciting EDM gatherings. Richard Durand & Eximinds - Las Vegas

In June of this year, Richard Durand presented the eleventh excursion of the In Search of Sunrise series that he conceived with Myon & Shane54, dedicated to 'The City of Sin': Las Vegas. As tradition demands, this brand new volume also features an In Search of Sunrise anthem, which Richard produced with Eximinds. Finally available in its original, full length, the single release also features the brand new Organic Remix. 

There's much more to the track than only the title, especially since it represents an entire mix-compilation. As Richard recently stated: “With electronic music in the United States having changed so momentously over the last couple of years, there really was only one choice when it came to the country for 2013’s ‘Search’. I’ve selected Las Vegas to be the focal point, as it’s a place where I’ve seen the sun come up many times over. It’s a celebration of everything that’s great musically about L.V. and the USA at large.” 

Richard's choice to work with Eximinds didn't just fall out of the sky either. The Russian duo quickly emerged over the last two years and have become one of the fastest rising names in trance and progressive. While Eximinds existed for several years as a musical experiment with various members, it was only under the influence of current members Alexander Zhukov and Dmitry Momzikov, that their musical collective started to gain the attention of EDM's elite. 

As a true anthem should, "Las Vegas (In Search Of Sunrise 11 Anthem)" features an epic melodic and increasingly atmospheric sound that phases its way onto the dancefloor. Hard, seismically registering beats and bright, enlightening synths show off perfectly how Richard and Eximinds open the thrusters wide, setting it on course for its edge-of-the-seat climax. The Organic Remix honors the original theme, with a more trance aimed approach to it. Gorgeous voice from singer/songwriter Kelly Pepper, I am addicted to this tune right now! Love the liquid dnb type track, gives the right balance and compliments the vocals perfectly. Lyrics, well I cannot deny I am singing along as well as doing a head bop!

The video is directed nicely, great camera angles and keeping with the pace of the track. Really like the various uses of colour/lighting and shadows.

Sometimes you ran into a huge young talent and this time Rub A Duck has signed the debut EP from Gate Faze, a 16 year old super talent from Colombia. 

With an edgy dubstep EP this young kid is ready to conquer the world of bass. 

Unique sounds and heavy basslines are incooperates in the BadLab EP. 

Hailing from Medellin, Colombia and started producing his own output about a year ago. True to his personal views on modern electronic dance music, his goal with every project he works on, is to stay away from the more ore less self imposed restrictions within the industry itself. "With my music I like to mix genuine feelings with basic, slightly primitive but hard rhythms. Working with various sounds, melody lines and actual chords you can perfectly channel these elements to the audience. It's inspirational to compose creative tracks that way and for me it means that I can bring a sense of fire, ecstasy and joy to the dance floor.we only have to agree with him.

Future Disciple a.k.a. Daniel James firmly established himself as one of the most exciting and innovative artists on the trance scene over the past 12 months, with a clutch of huge remixes for Federation, Perfecto Fluoro and Solarstone. His sound fuses hard-hitting techno inspired grooves and massive synth riffs with an eastern flourish, and ‘No Man’s Land’(gleaned from ‘Pure Trance Vol. 1) is a master-class in how to rock a dance floor. The Original Mix is a powerful representation of those hallmarks, with a euphoric layer of pads, vocal samples and even manages to make a trumpet sound cool! James Alexander & Scott Lowe opt for a driving, melodic Pure Trance sound, fusing elements of the Original Mix with some neat sequencer lines and a lead synth/arpeggio combination which provides the eyes-closed moment at the breakdown. Powerful stuff.

Spix joined forced with Tim Nokx for a superb deep house gem called Carpe Diem. 

Spix, full name Melvin Spix, was born in 1990 in The Netherlands. As a child he played the drums, taking his first steps in the world of music. Initially he was into all kinds of styles, but at age 15 he found is genre of choice and started producing his own trance/progressive music. His initial releases already received the support from artists like Tiësto, Above & Beyond and Ferry Corsten. Over time Melvin changed his style and concentrated on tech- and deep house. The success came quickly and the single "Braga" not only got signed to the V-Essentials label, but also harvested the support from big names like Stefan K, Dave Lambert, Roger Sanchez, Ivan Pica, The Flash Brothers, Nikki Belucci and many others. Mauritius 2013

Hello UK, I am back after having been in Mauritius for a month, lucky me! So what have I been upto? Well firstly, 12 hour flights, yawn, but I did have a Joe Swash lookalike help with our bags (short people issues). During girly gossipy talks with my cousin, she came out with "and I see him and it's like I have alzheimer's" ... whether that's a good thing I'm not sure. A shop called "Much Better Life" which sells alcohol is located in the country, well of course! Fire in the canes, due to the wind and friction between the sugar cane plants this is not uncommon! A traditional Mauritian wedding is one of religious ceremonies and incredible detail to beauty. It is wonderful to experience this four day ritual, however if I was to ever wed I would choose a white dressed affair and have that one special day of bliss.

I also took up yoga and afterwards you feel like a relaxed piece of jelly! I highly recommend this, good for the mind, body and well-being. I am currently working with the "GuruYoga" app which is a great guide for all yoga enthusiasts. If you are able to, join one of the many free yoga classes across the country, the atmosphere is much better with others in a calm environment. I'm a believer of inner peace and positivity, there is yin and yang in the world all around creating balance. Negative emotions and fake behaviour are not needed, if only more people realised this and pushed it through to create a better world...
